Colca Canyon - Peru

The photos below are from a 2 day treck into Peru’s Colca Canyon. The 2nd deepest canyon in the world! The hike consited of a 1000m (3280 ft) decent to the Colca River which covered about 7km (4.4 mi) and then another 7km trek to Oasis Eco Lodge. The following day we woke at 4am for a 1000m assent up to the crest of the Canyon. I may or may not have been the first in my group to the top.
